A Sub-Compact 10mm

They can call that a subcompact until they are blue in the face, but it fits more into the compact category if anything. The EAA Witness Compact 10mm is a true subcompact with a 3.6" barrel - it also holds 3 more rounds than the so-called subcompact.

A 10mm Auto Sub-Compact sound about as bad as a Scandium frame 357 Mag J-frame. No fun to shoot.

10mm Auto from a full size gun is a pleasure to shoot, same for 357 Magnum (except that report). From a small light gun they are just abusive and are not worth the effort IMHO.

I carried a 10 mm stainless 1911 in CCO configuration on the ranch for nearly 20 years.
A 3/4 scale government model for all practical purposes.
A little snorty, probably my favorite handgun.
I’m down to a polymer 9mm these days due to old age and living in town.
I like the 10 mm cartridge far better than 9mm, but I wouldn’t want a plastic 10 mm subcompact, that’s for sure.

For my intended uses, I don't need 10mm for concealed carrying, it's meant for open carrying thus a subcompact or compact 10mm isn't something for me. Now, if I was living in Canada, the Rockies, Alaska, maybe northern New England, yeah, I could see this being a good combination of size for concealment and power for big 4 legged animals like moose and bear.

The sad reality for 10mm is that it's really built for a full size, long barrel pistol and those are NOT what sell in the US, so that's why nobody is coming out with polymer frame 10mm's even tho it's probably the fastest growing handgun cartridge.

Not sure what this does that the Glock 29 doesn't.. The 29 is a chunker, but it is very shootable.

Nobody, besides Glock.

Glock 29 (compact sized) = 3.78" barrel
Glock 20 (full sized) = 4.61" barrel
Glock 40 (long slide sized) = 6.02" barrel

Springfield, but nobody should buy their guns anymore.
