A lot of red flags here.

CCI isn’t charging $0.25 per primer wholesale when we know we can buy them cheaper than that retail. That’s a hit to his already damaged credibility.

This 11th hour “dog ate my homework” excuse with an offer for something else that will cost more is a classic bait and switch maneuver.

His reference to losing money or just breaking even is a warning sign that there will probably be folks not getting their refund

I was under the impression the primers were held up in Canada
Now they have not been shipped

Wow, that's a long game for a con, but that takes some cohones go double down now and ask for nearly triple the original price. Gotta imagine that's the endgame here. If the story is legit, why would he need to buy back primers that he already bought if someone else made the mistake of using them? This commercial loader would need to pay Noah for the primers he used, I'd say about ohhhhh, let me think, $.19/per I would think. Well, shoot, that's too bad, I had high hopes for that one

True or not, the balls to ask 3x the agreed upon price. The supplier is the one who should eat it. Refund requested.

“My supplier is only willing to do this with me because of the relationship we have and continue to build.”

With such a good relationship, one might expect the supplier to at least fork over $0.06 per primer that they “inadvertently” used. That way the supplier saves $0.09 cents apiece off his supposed cost for primers and NFT still makes the profit they would have made if the deal had gone through. Have to wonder if a Nigerian prince is somehow involved.

I bought CCI 450 SRMP at $67.99 per 1k just today. I was able to pick up 5k worth.
That's .07 each. Have picked up 7k worth of CCI and Fed SPP and didn't pay more than .085 each, average was .075 each.
This is starting to sound like a shell game.

Noah sounds really gullible. CCI isn't charging .25 when retailers are selling them for .07-.08

His primers disappearing wasn't an inadvertent error, nobody is going to buy his primers for .19, and he's confident in the "relationship" he has with the very supplier who just royally screwed him.

This was just a slow trainwreck unfolding before our eyes.

SCREW THAT!!!
I was in, and was willing to wait at $0.06/each or $300/5k... on primers that were supposed to be sitting there waiting in Canada... but I am NOT paying MORE THAN TRIPLE for foreign primers! $190/brick is OUTRAGEOUS!

I'M OUT, OUT, OUT!!!

I'm downright angry, and feel lime I've been scammed on this deal. Maybe he is TRYING to get us to opt out so he can sell them for more than he agreed to. Smells like sh*t to me!

I'm not sure what the truth is but I've got an invoice for 10m primers marked paid. I expect them. I would agree to substitution of brand. This isn't some scammer in Calcutta. This is an FFL dealer in the state of Washington. This sure seems like fraud, a crime. Did Noah not have anything in writing? This isn't about two buddies that got together to make a bulk buy and tried to sell some of the excess. They used our money to buy those primers. They belong to us. Does anybody else see it that way?

You almost certainly have a breach of contract case if he doesn't provide a refund.

Sad to see this end as a scam.

I dont think it was a scam.

I asked for a refund, he replied (today) that he needed my order number so I replied back with that.

Give him a few days to reply and proccess refunds before rounding up a posse...

The whole "the supplier used my .06 primers by mistake but that same supplier will give me some .19 primers as a replacement" doesn't pass the smell test for me.
Maybe he watched War Dogs too many times before he placed the order.
I was willing to wait at the original price, but I also thought that either the primers were coming or not coming. Not that the ones we were waiting on were used by an ammo manufacturer and had to be replaced by higher priced ones.
That was never even brought up as a possibility.

I dont think it was a scam.
According to Northfork Tactical website, these primers were "pre-ordered" under contract to customers at $60/1000 - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/northfork-primers.892663/page-2#post-12009805

So my guess is that Northfork Tactical's cost was less than $60/1K and now there's inability to fulfill pre-orders on a claim due to external events beyond Northfork Tactical's control (To me, it doesn't matter what the reason).

If there was fine print for refund in case Northfork Tactical was unable to fulfill the orders, then there's that. If Northfork Tactical somehow got compensated for "accident" by supplier who is an ammunition manufacturer, then there's that.

So if customers get money refunded then Northfork Tactical got to use customer's pre-order money for free. What's wrong with that? ;)

Question now is what happens next but I believe that's beyond the scope of this subcategory of THR forum. It would have been nice if this "business deal" worked out to benefit those who pre-ordered the primers.

I am not rounding up a posse, but the fact that I paid for something months ago, and am now told that it is not possible for me to get it is waaaaay past a straight up way to do business. Could we push that this is breach of contract or something else, possibly. But I just know that I want my money back, and then I will never, ever, EVER do business with that company again.

I don't know, somewhere i recall Noah saying he was buying them for .03/per and had ordered 10m. So that's an outlay of $300,000. Old adage says never use your own money in business venture. So he collects over $750,000 (with shipping) in pre-orders. Then who knows what happens, he sells the primers in Canada thinking he has time to reorder before he can get them into the States, and then gets caught short from the supplier? And that's the least shady scenario I can think of. Even if he gives a refund on every pre-order, he still makes out like a bandit. I remember years and years ago there was a scam like that with one of those "As seen on TV" products, the "send $19.99 to Po Box whatever, allow 6-8weeks for delivery" ads that used to be on late night back when there were only 3 channels. Anyway, it was the 80's, crazy high interest rates at the time. They collected all the sales, parked it in an interest bearing account, and started stalling. They refunded anyone that requested it after about a year, and kept the interest. There never was a product manufactured, apart from what was shown in the ad.
Wow, yup, totally off topic , I'll stop now
