This was my 2nd S&W revolver but my first 357 magnum back in 2013. It came with Pachmyer grips, 94 rounds of 357 and 44 rounds of 38 special. The 38’s were probably as old as the gun. Had the Mothers Mag & 686 out on the deck this evening enjoying the nice evening and shining up the revolver

Good looking revolver!

I've owned a 686-M for probably 15 years now. I haven't shot it in several years, I really need to get it back out.

I remember waffling over buying it, it was so expensive. Original box, original Magna stocks, even the original vapor paper to wrap the revolver.

ETA: Correction - original 'football' Target Stocks.

The guy wanted $350 for it, and wasn't coming off the price. I almost passed.

I'm glad I didn't.

As C. Montgomery Burns would say.... Excellent!

My bead blasted 686+ looks downright blah compared to your spiffed up Smith . Nice job.

Stay safe.
