lee undersized sizing die 9mm

I do use the crimp die with the 9mm. It applies a taper crimp, I believe. Should I try adjusting the die for a heavier crimp?
Short answer is no. 9mm reloads should have only enough crimp to remove the bell on the end of the case. The Lee under sized die will size the full case length and fix the issue with Glock smile (and brass from other less than fully supported chambers). Also highly recommend a U (or sometimes called M) expander die that has a deep expansion without a large "flare" on the mouth of the case. There are several different companies selling the Lee die under their own name. The end result is greater accuracy and less powder for same velocity.

I had an issue with neck tension on a 3 of my 9mm reloads this past weekend. Two were S&B and the other was CBC. The bullets didn’t set back but rather pulled out of the case.
I use Lee dies, and one bothersome comment in this thread is whether the Lee sizing die sizes the full length of the case. I don’t understand how it would work at all if it did not size the entire case, only sizing the base of the brass near the rim instead. It doesn’t seem that a crimp die would be appropriate for resizing the case mouth and proper neck tension would never really be achieved.
The undersize Lee sizing die is what you need to resolve your issue. Also suggest using a U (or M) expander die to insure that plated/coated bullets are not damaged during the seating process. There is no need to use a crimp die, they just usually just deform the bullet and increase the bullet setback problems.

Is there an M die that will work as a powder through die with Lee Auto Disk?

So you use this instead of the mouth expanding die that comes with the lee 4 carbide die set?
