My favorite Press

This has got to be the most versatile press I own, also probably the most currently used.
Have used this for all current pistol loads at one time or another and am now using this to load 223 with the Powder Thu die and the seating die.

Yes I also have a Lee Pro1000, Pro4000, and an RCBS JR3. Don't know what I am going to do when I wear this one out. May just have to find another and stash it.

Only been reloading (solid projectiles) for little over a year. Started with the little Lee "C" press and got comfortable with the process Then I added an old CH Magnum to bring a little efficiency by combing sizing, de-priming, priming, flare and powder drop on that press. Most recently picked up a Lee Value Turret. So far I'm very pleased with the loads and the speed I can produce them.

At almost 50 years old I'm a very young reloader.
My first reload was on my brand new Dillon xl650 purchased in 2015.

Makes me biased but after 3 years of saving and lurking on the fringe of THR, I chose Dillon and have felt year after year i made a great choice.

My dad gifted me an old rock chucker that I use for resizing cast bullets. Functional and solid.

Bought a Rockchucker to get me started but a few years ago I was feeling rich and bought the Redding T 7 turret. The Redding is the bomb.

My new favorite is MEC Marksman . I have used my Rockchucker for many years and have no complaints , but the MEC's open face is a nice feature . Strong and smooth also.

I never even knew they made such a press. other than shotgun.. Looks really nice. I looked it up read some reviews
Looks substantial.

Currently:
  1. Redding Big Boss 2
  2. Dillon XL-750
  3. Lee APP
Each has its purpose and they complement each other extremely well.
Started out with a Lee Classic Turret 6 years ago as a junior in high school and got hooked!
Picked up a Lee APP when it came out for brass prep (and love it).
Sold that and got a Hornady LNL AP a little while ago, then sold that to get a Dillon XL-750 before the price increase.
Picked up a Redding Big Boss 2 to have a main single stage to complement the progressive. It and the APP mount to the same Inline Fab quick change plate, depending on which one I need at the time. The XL-750 is mounted to a 75 lb steel beam that my dad and I machined as a riser mount.
