How long for C&R approval?

I've had mine for about 15 years and it didn't take long, about a month, to get mine at the time.

I have been told that if you already have a concealed weapons permit it goes faster. I already had a couple of background-check federal clearances under my belt at the time between the CWP and the Federal Base passes that I had in the construction industry ... and something else which I cannot remember ... oh, and these days if you have TSA Pre that is supposed to help as well. I've got all of that so my retired ATF buddy says I could get any FFL in short order ... and I think that would apply to you as well friend. Good luck and hopefully you have those things already in your possession ... CWP and TSA Pre.

I know I was told to expect a ten month wait on my first can stamp and I ended up having it in 51 days during Covid no less.

I got mine earlier this year. My recollection is that it was a couple months.

It's hard to predict anything these days based on history. I got my renewal in April and it took less than three weeks.
