Well, shortest suppressor possession ever.....Took delivery of my Mask on Monday afternoon. Went to tear it down to clean and lube before a range trip. Found two baffles locked pretty tightly together. Got them separated, and it appears one was mis-drilled on the under side, leading to a huge burr on the outer surface under the bonnet. Further, the muzzle end cap threads were so burred and boogered the turning tool was necessary to reinstall, even after clearing up the threads. Contacted DeadAir with photos, and they responded with an RA label. They want it back to eval, and tell me they're only running a couple day lag right now. Into the FedEx shop on Wed. Hoping they'll get this striaghtened away.
While Deadair supposedly has one of the best warranties around, I can't help but feel just a bit irritated after having waited 7 1/2 months to get the thing.
Hopefully within a week I'll be able to report back with good news.

Back with an update. DeadAir emailed me, recieved the package, reviewed it, and theyhave replaced all the baffles in the stack, reviewed the muzzle end cap and have the package awaiting shipping. Sounds like their reputation for getting things resolved quickly is the real deal. I should have it back in a couple days!!

Back with an update. DeadAir Mask arrived back from the factory, 8 days round trip. They replaced the entire baffle stack, checked everything over, squared away the cap threads. I'm pretty pleased with their efforts, timing and communication on the entire process. Clean and lube planned for today, and shoot for tomorrow (or maybe over lunch today if the weather cooperates, since I live in the country). Based on prior experiences with a friend's Mask, I think it's gonna be great!
