There should be Italian proof marks somewhere on the gun.
There will be two letters in a square, which is a date code.

I didn’t find it on mine. As I read in another post. Uberti hid lots of them under the trigger housing.

This is my .45 Colt Cattleman by Uberti. The Boxed letters are clearly visible on the bottom of the frame. "B T" would be 2003.

Yes they are! That is also 30-40 years younger than my cartridge revolvers from Uberti. Glad they started putting them on the pieces.
