Can anyone recommend some leather pocket slips/sheaths, particularly ones with clips? I’ve seen the MKM design with magnets and may well get one but am hoping for some additional options to choose from.

I just picked up a nice slip joint knife but as with most traditional folders, it has no pocket clip. Thanks, folks!

This is what I’ve come up with thusly. In pockets with a rounded bottom it rides a bit higher than I’d like, given its footprint. I’m still on the hunt for a knife-only slip, but for less than $20 it’s not a purchase I regret.

Do be careful that the leather isn't tanned with acid that will damage the items. Chrome tanned leather sheaths is why we warn folks to not store knives in the sheath or they'll corrode. There are a lot of ways that are inexpensive to tan leather that can be bad for what's stored in it.

I have slowly learned to craft with veg tanned leather, wet forming and hand stitching. I’ve enjoyed making my own pouches and sheaths to suit my needs. Easier than you might think with very few tools needed and not much money invested.
As I’ve improved I’ve even gone back and remade some to replace my earlier (uglier) work.

The Dc3 stone has a leather pouch, rough on one side and smooth on other. Knife fits neatly in it, and it stays nicely in pocket… with Lanyard I simply draw it out 56F667C9-2817-44E0-A9DA-C91E32E76D19.png

Wood handled available also

A neat idea. It never occurred to me to use a pocket slip for a nice knife I didn't want scratched up with change and whatnot.

Might be a thing for the wife too. Sometimes she doesn't wear a garment with pockets, but still would like to have her knife handy. Usually a traditional case.

Self made pocket slip for ESEE Candiru knife. Fits in shirt pocket or pants pocket, hardly know if it is even there. The rolled top holds a ferro cerium fire starter. The back of the Candiru modified with a beveled sharp edge for fire starter.

The red filament in the center of the firecord is fire starting material.
