What is the last gun that you bought?

Bought a Savage Axis in .223 to plink with and train my niece before stepping her up to the Zastava 7mm-08 I accurized for her as I'm taking her out west for an elk hunt in two years. I'm a high power match shooter so have thousands of .223 rounds loaded up for her to practice with! Still working up a load for the -08. So far I've had good luck with 40gr of Varget and a 154gr Hornady Interlock. Next up to bat is my favorite bullet the Nosler Partition in 150gr and trying some H4831.

Picked up this Uberti repro '71 Open Top about a week ago. I bought it from the gentleman that plays Virgil Earp in the OK Corral shoot out re-inactment daily in Tombstone. He used this gun for some time and fired it many times in the re-inactment....blanks of course. He's 2nd from the right in the pic.

I always wanted one of these "transition" revolvers.....now I can scratch it off my list. When not out burning holy black, it'll sit just below the Trapdoor in the living room.

Last gun I bought was a Ruger 10/22. Yeah I know, that should be the first gun yah buy. My first 10/22 was bought while I was still in the Marines (67-71) + it's long gone. Then in the mid 80s I bought a beautiful SS 10/22. My GD fell in love with it when they were visiting so I send her home with it. Bought one for my wife a couple years ago. Then recently my LGS advertised one for $225 out the door + I jumped on it. Had the Plain Jane grey synthetic stock which I camo'd. Then stole the wife's Sporter stock since I put a Boyd's on hers.

As a kid, I did not live on a farm so therefore no horse or pony.
As an adult, I believed horsepower should be in an engine. I.C.E. Yeah, Ice,easily translated to internal combustion engine...

Well, today the Mrs. and I decided to go on a provisions run to the big city of Duluth.
Unknown to her, I had other plans.

After taking my CC class this past summer and talking to the much younger instructor, he had mentioned a gun shop that I should visit. (IT turns out I may have been there as a young'un, just do not recall some days of 50-60 years ago. We were talking to the grandson of the original owner.)

Gotta quit babbling here and get back to the horse story.....

Got my first Colt......Kinda excited.
Not the Anaconda I was looking for. But this will do for now.
Obviously a 2020 Python with a 6 inch barrel.
The owner knocked off almost enough $ of retail to offset the tax so we were both happy.

I did not own a .357 but I do now! (My wife ha s a .357 Rossi, but I don't feel comfortable shootin' it as it was her Dad's.

This sidearm was not on my bucket list.
I told the owner what I was looking for and he said,"Sorry, can't help you.
Well, we are just going to look around.

And that happened plus we purchased this for the Mrs.
She saw it, Oh well, wanted it and done.
Happy wife, happy life, right? (Do NOT spend time in a gun store...Cha-ching..Cha-ching)

A Bereta Model 21A (Bobcat Covert) in 22 LR.

On a side note, I wish the lawyers would stop requiring warnings on firearms.............DUH!!!!!

My last gun purchase was one of the new breed of powerful PCP air rifles….an Air Force Texan Carbine, caliber .457. I already had the supporting equipment on hand so the gun itself filled a niche in what I wanted. It will throw a 200 grain lead bullet at close to 1000 fps.
