Which grips do y’all like best?

Both are nice.
The extended may feel/handle better.

I would go with the one that controls and feels best.

I have plain black rubber bird's head panels on my NAA Mini .22LR -- so just about ANYBODY'S grip panels would look better than mine... :D

Having said that -- the aged ivory grips just seem to "go" with the case-hardened revolver to complete that "Old World" look. :) It looks like it belongs tucked into a cowboy's vest pocket as he stares over his three aces in a smoke-filled saloon... :)

.

I'm a big fan of faux ivory. I have "new" faux ivory Bar-S grips on my Ruger Vaquero, faux slightly aged ivory grips on my Beretta Stampede, new faux ivory grips on my engraved Pieta Remington New Model Army, faux ivory on my Colt Government and Colt Mustang, and American Holly wood grips on my Ruger Flattop. I especially love the contrast between the bluing and the ivory colored grips.

I think they all look great!

I like the Mastodon for the look. "Aged" Ivory, something like Bannockburns last pick would be my choice for the ivory look.

If its going to be a "shooter", then Id go with the Houge rubber slip on that NAA offers. Thats what I have on all my Mini's, and I find they are the best for shooters. Not as pretty, but purely functional.

First time thru I didn't catch that the Mastodon grips were "faux".
I guess I still like those.
I always wanted Mastodon or Mammoth grips on my 1911.
But i just can't pay more for the grips than i did for a gun.

Yup, Mineralized Ancient Mammoth Ivory is pricey. That said, Woodcrafters of Texas jade some striking faux Mammoth Ivory/Tooth 1911 grips. I’ll forward the site to you.
