Colt Police Positive .32-20 Experiences, Please

Th Police Positive SPECIAL was chambered in .32-20 and .38 Spl.- they have a longer cylinder and frame.

Its a great little gun, but the grip angle on the early ones can be a bit awkward-

I actually sold this because it would rap my knuckles when firing. Kinda regret it now since it was a really pretty gun.

I wouldn't trust most modern commercial .32-20 ammo for hunting or SD since its loaded pretty light and all I ever see is truncated FMJ. In terms of plinking, its pleasant and accurate, but $$$$$$$$.

Many .32-20 do have bulges, due to light loads sticking in the barrel. Try running a tight patch down the barrel and see if you can feel it.

If there is one, don't panic -- many bulged barrels shoot quite well.
