Maybe they will make it for other guns and the owners that can’t count. Most likely they made it for the Glock pistol first because there’s a bigger market. And there’s the fact that many Glock guys like to dress up their guns with extra stuff that is really not needed.
Don’t tell me that you have never watched videos by that guy. He’s like a lab rat on crack, and does stupid stuff.

Well, he is entertaining. And the season that he won Top Shot was pretty cool.

"I know what you're thinking, punk. Did he fire VI rounds or only V. In all the excitement, I lost count myself. Now you've got to ask yourself... do I feel lucky? Well, do you?"

I don't know how I got started, but I've always counted my shots up to the XVI of my M-IX.

For rifles, I try to estimate total number of rounds by number of reloaded boxes for that caliber just on general principles, but somehow lost track of those numbers several years ago. But even with the thousands of rounds I've fired prairie rat hunting, my son recently determined that my favorite ancient varmint rifle in CCXXIII Remington ( not DLVI NATO ) is still superbly accurate with its I in XIV inch twist.

Nice use of Roman Numerals  :D
Kudos to you, Sir.

Well. to be really rigorous and scrupulous, the CCXXIII Remington should have been

CCXXIII ÷ M

and the DLVI NATO should have been

DLVI ÷ C

But AFAIK they didn't use decimals back then.

So you do what you can with what you got, and thanks.

....Oh... and I'm not crazy. My mother had me tested. I was told to say that.

The round counter comes with two magazine followers. Just two.

Still looking for a description of how it works. A miniaturized auto knock sensor would be one way to do it. The mag followers may just be using a accelerometer - cell phone motion sensor.

I'm not seeing people dropping those all over a competition range.
