Hornady Lock n Load Primer Tube Filler

I guess it's been around for awhile, looks pretty cool so I ordered one. Getting harder to load these the old way as my hands hurt to much, age is catching up,

Kinda cool. I'd looked at them before but figured the 2 minutes or so it takes me to pick up 100 primers isn't so bad to make it worthwhile.

Price is just about as bad as Hornady's

I (lightly, by hand) spin a drill bit up through the plastic jaws of the tube(s).

Reduces the amount of downward pressure you need to 'pop' the jaws over a loose primer.

I wouldn’t be without the Hornady primer tube filler. It fills small pistol primer tube in seconds. However with large pistol primers not so good. Hornady sent me another large primer tray which is a little better but really sucks compared to the small one.
Large primers get stuck in the drop hole and I can actually load a pecking tube about as fast with no cursing. I shoot small pistol primer cartridges much more and I wouldn’t never go back to pecking them.
I don’t know if the hole is too small, something not manufactured properly but would be interested if anyone else that has one has the same issue.

I broke down and bought the FA version when it was about 50$. While I can still stab them, it’s so nice to use the buzz box.
