Here is Tackdriver 44mag. Don’t see many of these. Last time I went shooting, was using some factory hornady xtp ammo….at 135yards, about a Golfball size 3shot group no problem. Not bad off the tailgate. 27C976F3-9254-4D98-B62F-CD25AF2B4049.jpeg

1967 Remington 788, 44 Magnum. They only made a small amount of these. Walnut stock, Rear locking lugs on bolt. Exceptionally accurate and can definitely reach out there a good ways! I shoot Lower end Magnum charges with 240-250gr ammo. Never did much of anything except install a Great scope with detachment rings. Has Detachment mag x 2 and nice clean trigger. Very cool 44, Have another 788 in 308. D395713E-AD3D-469A-9481-48E7E677C3A7.png

My two .44 magnums.

The Dan Wesson usually wears its 4" barrel. Swapping barrels is less than a 5 minute job. The brake in the upper picture can be mounted on any of the barrels, it just replaces the front barrel retaining nut.

My .44 is my avatar, a Colt Realtree Anaconda. Bought it new back in the late 90's. Has turned out to be a collectors item, although I did not have that in mind when I bought it.

Less than 200 rounds through it,bought new around 1985'ish. Got it for one reason, big game hunting. Has killed several nice bucks over the years and is headed that way again in a cpl weeks. Never seen a jacketed bullet, shoots 250g cast into bragging groups. Is a death ray on deer..... closest was a 10 pointer @5 yds(yes,15 feet). I was sitting at the base of a huge Oak,he walked right up to me from the right, slowly one handed, single action right in the crease on a full frontal shot. Lyman 429421 with large dose of 2400. Trigger has been slicked up to a fine SA pull, zero complaints. Have other 44's but none so single purpose/focused.
