Do match primers in pistol loads even matter.

In a pistol with short range trajectory does it even matter?
I don't think so. If I recall correctly I could get F-150 and GM-150 primers for about the same price years ago. That being said I have had one FTF with a F-150 primer, I took down the round and found there was no primer compound in the F-150 primer. I never had that issue with GM-150 primers, I have used many thousands of each.
This was the F-150 with no primer compound, https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?attachments/reloading-003-jpg.86879/
With all that being said I inspect my primers before seating.
