Bought a new knife from North Point Axe. Their a small company in Maine. Their prices are reasonable and the make an excellent knife. The workman ship is first rate and they only use high carbon steel. They are easy to sharpen and keep an edge. They offer several different styles,not only in knives but also axes. Take a look I think you will like what you see.

I hate to be negative, but some of what I see on their site is from Pakistan. That doesn't mean your knife is one of them and they're not exactly being deceptive since they up front say that they carry knives from other forges. It's just that I recognize some things off of ebay and groups I'm in so I can track what's being made in Pakistan and sold as American. Some of the prices reflect it as well.
