A CZ PCR. A model 75D PCR. The PCR stands for Police Czech Republic.
I looked for one of these for a long time. I had read glowing reviews about their reliability, hand friendly grip and accuracy, all of which appear to be true.
I did not want a light rail but did want a compact aluminum framed DA / SA pistol for every day carry.
Finally found one online & a week later it was in my hot sweaty hands. (God bless the Gunshine state of Florida.)
Comes with two 15 rd magazines and some cleaning utensils. A couple of spring changes (to remove 14 or 16 lawyers from the pistol) and installing Tritium nite sights, I have an accurate easy shooting easily concealed pistol. I've had it almost two months now and have about 1000 rds downrange with NO malfunctions, hangups, problems. I have used 3 different brands of JHP ammo, three different cast lead bullet designs with my reduced power handloads, all with no problem. An interesting design of the PCR and other CZ DA / SA pistols is that after de-cocking, the hammer falls to a half-cock position making the first DA trigger pull much nicer. DA to SA transition is easy and double taps are almost instinctive.
Through the years past, with my EDC handguns, I have been through a full sized and three compact 1911s, one Browning Hi Power, two snubby revolvers (still have one) one Sig 229 and now the PCR.
Pleased with the new pistol, I am. Shoot it well, I do.

Picked up a CZ75B Omega recently and just love it. Classic great looks, great accuracy, easy to shoot. And I got a great deal. Win-Win.

Congratulations on a very fine weapon. Wanted one for years and years and when my favorite shop had one I snapped it up instantly. Haven't seen another in a shop since. don't think they stay long.

Used the P-01 for a long time, the alloy frame eventually failed (cracked) after some 10k rounds. Was told I was lucky to get that much life out of it.

I picked up a CZ 75 B Omega "Convertable" a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I believe it's going to be a favorite just by handling it and examining it closely. Man this thing is NICE. With it's all steel construction and it's 18 round capacity, it's probably too big, and too heavy to carry, but that didn't stop me from ordering a holster for it so I can give it a try if I want to. :)

The "convertable" in the name refers to the ability to change out the decocker to a safety system that allows for cocked and locked carry. I doubt I'll ever change it, but I thought it was a neat trick.

More photos & information.
Photos showing the night sights, new narrow grips & hammer at half cock position for carry. Photo of top of slide showing the loaded chamber indicator. The little nub protruding about one 16th of an inch above the slide with a loaded round. No press check, no peering into a small gap in the barrel etc to know if the gun is loaded, Day or night, easy to know with just a finger over it to be sure.
Pistol designed for real daily use.

I have the CZ-75 Compact myself; I find myself liking it more than the full-size. The 75 Compact is one of those pistols that fits my hand perfectly, points well and just plain is enjoyable to shoot. I'm one of the strange people who prefers carrying heavier, all metal hammer-fired handguns over plastic striker-fired pistols...

Love my 75D also and as others have said, I also like mine better than the full-sized. I leave a CZ Kadet .22 conversion slide on my full-sized and use it as a .22 rimfire... that's how much I like the Compact. The best (and only) thing I've done to mine is install a Cajun Gunworks trigger, which is every bit as nice as my 1911 triggers. The full-sized is a spectacular .22 rimfire as well - very reliable and very accurate. Enjoy your new baby!

Just recently purchased a P-01 and I really like it. I am hopeful in finding a PCR someday. Congrats!

I picked up a cz75 pcr about a month ago. It's getting a set of tritium night sights from cajun gun works as I type this. Anxiously awaiting its return so I can go shoot it.

An excellent choice for EDC! I have a P01 and a P07 and love the way both of them handle and balance in my hand. The grip frame design, while different with each gun, both are quite ergonomic and make for a very comfortable hold. The P01 has more of a downsized Browning Hi-Power type feel to it while the P07 reminds me more of a 1911 type grip. I also have the .22 conversion kits for both guns for those times when I just want to have some fun with them.

The CZ 75 is one of the most copied pistols that ranks 2nd only to the 1911. I own a B model with bright bluing. The cz-75 is truly a pleasure to shoot. Being one of the most copied pistols is a testament to the quality of these firearms.

I had a CZ PCR that I fairly recently sold and I DO REGRET IT. Just was looking for something different and I let it get away from me. Very nice little pistols. I do like the feel of the full-size CZ-75 better than the compacts, but man, what a great handgun.
