That 'commie trash' has been produced by the 10's of millions and killed countless since it's creation. While the Carbine while fielded by the military in both Korea and Vietnam conflicts has not been produced since WW II. Not that I want to be shot by either.

No. This kind of language implies the hammer is to blame for what the carpenter did to the nail.

You forgot WWII. Some guys on here don't care for the AK variants, if you were on a 2 way range and had them pointed at you from the other side I can't say I would have any comment against that. It is a good weapon, I just don't like them compared to it's American counterpart, the AR15. I had AK's, I liked them then.....

I didn't forget WWII as I said there were not produced since then. I just assumed that everyone on this thread knew they were produced during WW II.

The merits of the AK's design is indisputable. Extremely reliable, able to take abuse with poor maintenance by the use and simple to use. What Russian tractor of guns lacks in aesthetics it more than makes up for in reliability and ruggedness.

The M-1 carbine is just plain fun. Lt. John George (Merill's Marauders and author of Shots Fired In Anger) liked it and it never failed him (he did head shots on Japanese).
