I can definitely see the reduction of shooters at the local range. I equate that to the cost and availability of ammo more then anything else. I voted the same, but I do enjoy having the range to myself more often then not.

I'm shooting more. I've been working from home since March 2020, and my gun range is 5 minutes away. Some days I'll stop in for my lunch hour. Other days after I drop my daughter off at school I'll stop in one the way home and be packed up and home to clock in by 9. Occasionally I'll clock out at 3:30 and go up for an hour in the afternoon. It wasn't that easy to stop in when I had an hour commute both ways.

I have noticed the past 4 or so months it's a lot more quiet at the range. More and more often I'm the only person on the whole grounds.

I never really gave COVID and Shooting much if any thought. Thinking about it now, I really haven't changed anything. During the nicer summer weather and now going into the cooler weather I get to my outdoor range about once a week. A little over an hour drive but a nice enough drive. When my outdoor range becomes a frozen tundra I'll move to indoor and be limited to handgun. Well I can shoot rifle indoors but get real, shooting rifle 75 feet doesn't quite get it. :) Anyway, really no change at all in my shooting habits and I really enjoy the flexibility of being retired.

I just wanted to gather stats out of curiosity. The poll can be interpreted as frequency, amount of ammo shot, or cost expenditure. Up to you.

For me, less. A lot less actually. Most of it is financial related, but other factors are time, other hobbies, family, closed shooting ranges (during the beginning) and political uncertainty. I have bought more ammo though! 'Not sure if I've spent any less, and I did buy another gun.
Shooting less but Covid has zero to do with it, unavailability of ammo at reasonable prices is THE factor for us.

Shooting a LOT more, retired, reloading at home, and staying at home as much as possible.
Make a new load, roller chair around to the back window, shoot at a close target for revolvers
and long range for rifles.
Wish I had this set up when I was younger.

I don't give warning shots any more. If people want a warning they should fire their own before entering the property.

I've been shooting much more this year, within the last six months that is. For at least decade plus prior to that I was dealing with major multiple issues that took precedent over everything else.

Shot a good bit of skeet at a club on a military base. Access has been severely limited since COVID. Haven`t been back in over a year. Ammo situation hasn`t helped. On the other hand, purchased a .223 Savage 110 and have started rifle shooting at a state range.

i'm shooting a whole bunch more now than i was before covid, because before covid, i wasn't shooting at all...

i'm not shooting because of covid, though, i'm probably shooting because of various other things i saw on the TV news.

Less shooting. Some of that was attributable to Range shut downs. I had a good supply of components….just nowhere to shoot.
About the same time as this pandemic took hold, I had some serious problems with my spine….resulting in an operation from which I am still recovering. Really cuts down on your shooting when you can’t stand.

As for me, Covid (aka Wuhan) did nothing to affect my day-to-day goings and comings. Early on it affected TP in the stores and in some places I was required to wear a facial diaper, but as for what I did...it affected nothing. Continued to camp, hike, visit friends, etc.
I already had (still have) thousands of rounds of ammo and have no need for newer weapons.

Gotta add this. One way that i have been able to shoot as much as before the pandemic is…..airguns.
I have two very fine air pistols (and a bunch of less fine) that allow me to practice precision shooting in my basement, Spine is still healing so I have to shoot sitting down for now.
I also raided the gun fund and picked up a pcp sir rifle…..an Air Force Texan .457 carbine. I atresdy had the necessary equipment. I can cast bullets that work just fine.
