The USFA Henry Nettleton .45Colt. Found it on Gunbroker and at first thought it was an earlier Uberti parts gun but it is not. It is a later all domestic gun and it shows. Actually in much better condition than I expected. I thought it was well used but it appears to be unfired. What was described as a rust spot on the barrel came off with my thumb. As usual the case colors are gorgeous and the carbona bluing stunning.

USFA SAAs are outstanding. When being produced
they easily were considered better, much much much
better than those produced by Colt.

Hang onto that cavalry model and never, never, never
let it go.

And shoot it; don't turn it into a safe queen.

Craig,

I am green, yellow, and blue with envy. What a beautiful revolver and what a great photo. Congrats!

Dave

PS: My avatar is USFA's "Artillery Model" version of the same gun. I got it used and it had been shot a fair amount. It's not near as nice as yours but I still like it.

Thats a really nice appearance and condition for $1,300. And in this economy. Good for you!!

I handled one of these back when they were readily available for sale everywhere. It was beautiful.

USFA made gorgeous, very well built revolvers; I own a matched set of three. I find the dollar value of a high quality firearm of this category to be much more than money. This brand/ era handgun will never be produced again so it is indeed priceless. The quality of these things is impeccable; the fit/ finish falls into the “perfect” arena. Dollars are extremely common and becoming more common everyday; a handgun of this rarity and quality is extremely difficult to find - very, very nice piece!
