Lee bullet molds that have been discontinued ?......

They discontinued the .410 240gn swc for the 41 magnum. Found mine on eBay 2 years ago. Good bullet

44 wadcutter.

I scored some neat old discontinued molds over the years. All 44s - 116 gr WC, 162gr WC, 170 gr RN, 208 gr WC

I believe all of the hollow point molds are gone. I have two, one for the 36 and the other for the 44 cap and ball revolver.

I really wish I could find a 6-cavity 100gr .312” DEWC mold. They are “hens teeth”.

I do have a Lee 90gr SWC-TL, but, it’s just a two cavity...
I bought a NOE 4-cavities 89gr WC. Haven’t had a chance to shoot any.
Will, soon... The Lee TC is a tad undersized. The NOE is perfect with bullets dropping at 0.3135-.314”.

If they have a cutter, waving enough money at them might get you a new mold.

It is rarely cost effective though.

I have a 185(ish) grain 45 auto SWC mold from the mid-80s that was a solid performer. It’s been gone from the catalog for a long time now.

Lee has made custom molds to order. I have a 54 sharps and a 45-70 hollow point that were special orders. They temporarily suspended their custom program on March 21, 2021 to deal with back orders. It's not cheap and you have to buy a minimum number of molds. The guy I got the sharps mold from sold his extras on e-bay. So, I imagine his customers paid for his custom mold.

Another forum I belong to has used Lee for custom orders. We stopped. Lee could not hold tolerances for a batch of 25, let alone 50 or 100. It is a shame but the molds needed to be identical and they were not.
