Anybody seen the Kid??

Good news everyone! A forum member was kind enough to let me have some parts shipped directly to his address in the lower 48 and he forwarded shipping to me so that i can get the parts faster without depending on 3rd party service (unless its usps items like amazon, ups, fedex etc are shipped through a 3rd party float plane company and it costs more and takes Waaaay longer). All guns are complete! They will be taken to a usps that will be opened on Wednesday and then i will send out tracking numbers. Although loading any internet pages takes forever here (if at all) as the cell network is super slow and non existent almost...its taking forever just to load this forum on my phone much less emails and do searches....so I need to post a message here: someone sent me a couple guns and the address is smudged and the box has been reused a couple times to ship and addresses were scribbled out...that return address shows a "mail and more" in stockbridge,GA. I need your physical address....you can send me a direct message here and put the subject as "address" so i know which message to load (remember it takes forever to load here with the cell network so please help me narrow down your message that has your address). You sent two guns...one is a very nice snubby: Heres a couple pics showing the cap post and hammer sheild...hope you like the new aftermarket nipples I added too. And Mr.Shortgrub...my good friend...thank you for asking about luna. She suffered dearly with the move. It was devastating at first as the shock took a huge toll on her..but now she is back to her old self and the move here proved worth it. She has two personal teachers and therapist with her all day and she has progressed to where she now says a few words and is doing a whole lot better all around in school and therapy... The therapy and schooling has helped so much...something she wouldnt have gotten in texas being that everything was shut down especially for special needs kids who cant/wont wear a mask or are at a higher risk of being affected by covid from underlying health issues. I have not forgotten you mr.shortgrub...and you will be receiving mail as well. Thank you all for your prayers!
 
Outstanding news Sergio!!! I am glad for both of you. Give her a peck on the cheek for me. The world is all about bringing up the children the best we can. I was never concerned about my goods you had. I hope it was a good educational experience. Please let me know if I can assist y'all in anyway from here. May God bless y'all and give ya peace!

Just wandering if the Kid sent you a tracking number for the package? I haven't gotton my gun back or any tracking number.
Has anyone else gotton their gun back?

Hey all! I sent out guns on wednesday...took a little longer to get off the island due to float planes are snowed in. All went out last Wednesday. Apparently some were held due to some packages at the mail facility getting damaged from someone trying to mail a battery...it busted and got water and acid everywhere. So if any boxes have greenish/orangy stains just be sure to get rid of it ASAP as its battery acid. I only know what happened cuz I know the guy who transfers the mail onto the planes. He said he doesnt think my packages got wet...but just a heads up. I can post a pick with tracking numbers if you all want and im a man of my word and will work something out as a partial refund or highly discounted work on the next gun. Im setup with the tools and parts needed so wont be a long delay to get your guns back.

Mr.cowboydave, message me your phone number and ill send you tracking number. My usual method is to immediately send a picture of the receipt with tracking and insurance info but loading a picture online on this slow cell network is tricky. Somedays it loads and others it doesnt. So if anyone wants a tracking number just message me your phone number and ill text you the info. It will load better and is faster on my end.

I'm glad you've gotten set up. I'm goin to have to start lookin for another pair of somethin to send ya! How is Miss Luna? Have ya ever had a winter like this one before? I haven't. Mother Nature is a quirky Lady. Blizzards yes, but not a winter tornado. Times, they are a changin. Roll with her and try to hold on!
 
Hopefully your adjustment to a new way is going well. Depending on floatplanes in winter teaches us patience. I remember waiting three days for a 15 minute to open up 300 miles away to land. Stay warm and dry.

Id be glad to work on whatever you send my good friend! Luna is doing great! Schooling and therapy is going superbly well and her teachers and therapists are a god send. The whole move up here was for her and although the first few months were the most stressful and hardest...on both me and Luna...the decision to be here has proved to be the best decision i could have made for her well being. In south Texas people were dying left and right from covid (every one of my neighbors..front, back, left and right..had at least one person in their home die from covid)...hospitals were full and schools kept opening and shutting back down right away due to new covid cases. So Luna couldnt get the schooling or therapy she needed especially at her age when it very important. I did all i could at home but I felt it wasnt enough. So i did what i had to do and came up here where covid hadnt shut everything down due to being so rurual. I had planned to move in late July but the job I was getting called me up in late may and said "if you want the job you have 10 days to get up here". I had to rush packing and moving out and driving from south Texas all the way to Seattle to barge my car to alaska, then from seattle fly out here. It was brutal! Especially with a special needs child. The traveling really shocked her mentally and physically. And when your child suffers it takes a toll on you as the parent. But after everything we went through...we are now settled and she is doing excellent. All the prayers from people I know and help from a friend here on the island are the only reason we made it to where we are. As far as weather goes...the snow isnt so bad in winters here on the island but this year its bad. Float planes cant travel and roads are dangerous etc. Even the older locals have told me that its the worst Theyve seen in years. That says a lot coming from tough Alaskan sourdoughs. Hope all is well on your end and with your family...stay safe out there in the harsh winter your having. Winter tornadoes eh? Now that is crazy!

Thanks Dirty Bob! And no .36 for bear guns...i got a .31 pocket open top for that. Lol jk. We only have black bears here...and I got a .44 cal with some old discontinued R.E.A.L's that im sure were designed to be used with .44 cap and ball guns. It will definitely drop a black bear at close range. Although I am way to preoccupied with my daughter and work for now to even get to do any outdoor fun stuff. But hopefully soon! Still got my .50 and .54's muzzleloaders I want to use on bear this coming season.
