It sounds to me that the NPR cut almost 8 min of recording from what they say is 3 hours of recording just to find dirt on the NRA. On top of that they didn't find very much, I guess that's why they waited 20 years to publish their findings. What is it a slow news day??

I love the feigned concern by these leftist media folks that the NRA is disparaging their biggest supporters. We’re playing right into the outcome desired by this story which is to turn gun owners against other gun owners.

Just want I was saying, I wouldn't consider that dirt it just a conversation on what official stance the NRA was going to take. Were we not supposed to not talk about it?

Care to actually read the article and comment on the content? How do you know it’s even ‘bashing’? What I read it was straight reporting, you can read the conversation and decide for yourself. One of the main points was about whether to proceed with a high profile event near and soon after Columbine, and the tricky decisions they had to make.
