Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Expanded my loading bench library. I have been hankering for some hard cover handbooks to keep on the shelf.
I am somewhat disappointed in my choices. The book by Lee is blatantly a sales brochure I paid for. The Lyman book is very limited in the powders and bullets it referenced. The Hodgdon magazine is better but still limited. I don’t see a great improvement over the cheap spiral bound loadbooks. 5024F96F-9A2F-4E27-95BD-217611C25D29.jpeg

Bought a YHM can, now have to decide on NFA trust or not or snail mail application or e-file later this month.

Ok, Bullet delivery from Hammer today.

.308 160 gr X 50 Hammer Hunters
7mm 131 gr X 50 Hammer Hunters

8 pound jug of IMR4350 but have a small amount of RL23, a pound each of H1000, RL25, 7828ssc, some H100v ( I may have to buy more bullets.).

I suppose it's time to get busy, especially since rifle deer season is over.
Doe season comes back in after Christmas

I was looking for a .44 mag rifle since my area has opened up hunting to include straight walled cartridges along with shotguns and bows.

I really didn't want to spend on a new rifle so might get the Redhawk drilled and tapped. Decisions. damn

Today, an early 870 Express. How do I know early? Fit, smooth action, slick chamber and wood that wasn't proud relative to the metal. Price? Way less than I see will be asked for the new RemArms version. About $150 less, in fact. Into the safe for one of the grandkids when they are ready. I have trap wood available if they need it.

Holosun 407K X2, Blue Locktite, Dream Plastics neoprene covers for Holosun.

Scope mount for my trashed Savage 95 commemorative. See if it is worth rebuilding as I can't see the buckhorn/ blade sights. Was in a safe in a fire and is pretty ugly with rust, and a novices attempt to clean it up
