You wouldn't put one on just one side. ;) A fuller is a weight saving measure and can be used to adjust balance and rigidity/flexibility. You would want it to be symmetric.

Yes, Marble's use deep fullers. Those that copied them did as well. Those "inspired by" had a variety of sizes for fullers.
 
Nice to have in the Pack. Use it when I have a Handgun for hunting and am Going thru the Briar patches. Machete works just as good…. Yet well, Not as Awesome. 3F4B2322-7A13-4467-8681-D5B499B007B0.jpeg

What model is that victorinox? The one with the saw blade open.

The first pics you posted looks like a swisschamp but with walnut scales. Did you add the scales? I love the wooden scales.
