For those that think that ammo is too expensive, will remain expensive, will remain scarce and world ammo demand (both military and civilian) will remain high - maybe this will help you subsidize your hobby - just a thought for those that think beyond their next paycheck. LOL.
For most people ammo can be conveniently delivered by the case to their home, but Nooo
Instead some drive around and see what they can find, maybe buy a box or two then be surprised again when ammo is wiped out again.
New brass case 9mm FMJ delivered for 36 cents a round (probably plus tax):

Yea, it might go cheaper; or, one negative incident could have it wiped out again.
proactive > reactive

I have bought and sold different sporting goods companies thru the years. S&W and Cabela's are two.
At $5 a share it may be fun to take a chance with.
Does POWW produce all their own components? Brass, bullets, powder?
If ammo companies is a place you want to invest in Vista Outdoors (VSTO) ?
Both companies are/have lost value in the past 6 months.

Easiest off set for pricing is look for free shipping option, save at least $2-3/per box. Just ordered 10 boxes of 9mm and free shipping offer saved me over $28.

several yrs ago i bought ruger stock as it always paid out 40% of profits no matter what in dividends.( don't know if it is still the case ). with earnings depending on whether there is a panic and who gets elected, it made a roller coaster of the stock price and yield. i dumped it for a 30% loss , harvested the tax loss and put the money somewhere else.

don't pay too much attention to the price of the stock itself but to it's other attributes. a $5 stock may be a worse value than a $100 or even $1000 stock. for me ammo companies are too unpredictable and affected by elections. if you do buy it may be better when it is a republican president as that is when these companies are doing worse but then why buy them at that time as well. they are capital intensive, input costs are subject to inflationary pressures and with the product being a discretionary item, passing on any inflation costs to the consumer may be limited. projecting earnings is useless as it always hinges on the next election.

i was amazed in the past how much cabela's stock performed based on sales of the last quarter when it was due to panic buying and therefore unsustainable.
my 2 cents.

Walked into Dunhams sports the other day. On the shelf were 5, five round boxes of 410 bore slugs. For $37.?? Per box. The last 410 bore slugs I bought was at Dunhams about two years ago for $5.89 box. Absolutely No way I would pay that.
Back in Dunhams yesterday. All 5 boxes were gone.
$188 for 25 410bore?
You can buy a made in turkey 12ga. For that. And probably have enough left over for shells.
Not this fool.

Probably somebody with a Taurus Judge....
Thats like $7.52 per round.
You know thats exactly what they want?
They want the price to be driven up. That way the Elites "Thats them" have what they want And the Peons " Thats us" get the bones. And we are so eager to please, for bones.

Ammo Inc (POWW) is a gamble. They’ve gone from $1 stock to a $10 stock back to an $5 in the last 2 years. They now own gunbrocker.com which has been raising fees and driving away a lot of long time users. Their ammo brands are mostly boutique offerings which provide a nice margin but not really stuff that people buy on a reoccurring basis.

@Steve S. You have me watch POWW !?!?
I was looking at buying a couple of hundred shares and then selling 2 April calls. It may turn a fast small profit or offset some loss if the price continues to fall.

Just a thought.....
Going to continue to watch it this next week
