We have been averaging about 9-11 months lately with the random 6 month and 12 month approval. No rhyme or reason. Trust or individual.

I have no idea what an inspector is.
Typically the only response you'll get from calling ATF NFA Division is "pending results of FBI background check". The ATF NFA Examiner can't do anything until FBI returns a proceed on your background check.

Received first two February 2021 "standalone" Form 4's yesterday. (standalone meaning not approved in a batch for same person)
One customer picked up eight silencers yesterday ranging from January 2021 through September 2021 submission dates.

Singleshot trust, 1/27/2021, got a call today that my tax stamp arrived (1/14/2022), I'll pick it up Sunday. I was starting to think they forgot about me.

Picked it up today, put it on a cz457 rifle. Wasn't as quiet as I expected but it is 18°F out and 1090 ammo is super sonic.
1/16/2022 Later in day.
Found adapter for my Walther/Umarex/Gold Cup, 3 rounds into the ground. Nothing but the sound of the mechanical parts striking each other.
I can see the front sight just fine. I am happy!

got my approval on 2/12 for a 3/18 pending!!.
my cousin's 3/18 pending is still "in process" And since I hunt on his land, I'm not telling him I got mine and his is still waiting.

4 checks cashed on 9 APR 2021..........LGS just called to say all 4 stamps/forms are in his possession on 8 MAR 2022.........WOOOOOHOOOOO....!
Even better.........the suppressors are already paid for.......
My first 2 suppressors took just short of 8 months each ( MAR 2018 and APR 2019 )
These taking just short of 11 months.....meh......I'll take it with what has been going on in this world......( don't have a choice anyways......)
I'll be making a trip this week sometime to bail 'em out.......not a big hurry - tooooooo cold to shoot here now

Silencer Shop single shot trust submitted via kiosk today. Waiting now.

While you may have scanned prints at that kiosk.........nothing was submitted to ATF. Your prints were just sent to Silencer Shop.
I don't know why people continue to think that the kiosk submits the forms. Never has, never will.
Once Silencer Shop has made your silencer available for the dealer to prepare, HE will upload a draft to ATF eForms using the Silencer Shop Full Auto software.
Once "prepared", he'll contact you to set up a time to certify your eForm 4. Being a trust means you can do a remote session with your dealer.

He just stated that he submitted the Single Shot Trust with Silencer Shop.......or did I misinterpret that.....?

Nothing but his fingerprints are submitted "via kiosk".
The fingerprints and information he provided for his trust are "submitted" to Silencer Shop, NOT ATF.
eForm 4 is a wholly and completely separate action than using the SS kiosk.

The item below is directly from the Silencer Shop website :
After you’ve purchased your single shot, we’ll prepare your ATF Form 4 that you’ll receive via Docusign (you’ll also receive your Single Shot Trust, no notary required!). Once you’ve electronically signed your Form 4, we’ll ship off your documents to the ATF for review. The trust will also include instructions on how to add and/or remove trustees.
I will add the purchase price is $24.95 ( seems pretty reasonable to me )..........Anyway....
He stated that he submitted, at the kiosk, his purchase of the Silencer Shop Single Shot Trust.
He didn't imply that he submitted the form 4 at the kiosk ( see the first line that you wrote in your post #47 )
I admire the knowledge that you have about NFA type dealings, but you seem to be WAYYYYY hung up about this kiosk thing and the way people say they use them.
I don't want to start another " -------" match by any means, as I am not an FFL/SOT, but I tend to think you are splitting some pretty fine hairs about this...
