First thing with the Civivi button lock is to put a drop of oil inside the plunge button. Mine was bone dry and didn't want to go into full lock before the oil was applied to the lock (not the pivot). It may take a few flips to wear in perfectly so flip/flop away.

NOTE- When releasing the blade with the button to open do not keep the button depressed. Press the button to free the blade and release it while wrist flipping the blade the rest of the way to the lock position. The lock will engage perfectly with that bit of drag.
NOTE b- The button is pushed not by a typical coiled compression spring under it, but by a section of the liner pressing the button up into engagement (something like a liner lock spring, but pushing the plunge button up into engagement).

Second, it may classify as a gravity knife since the blade falls open freely on the bearings with you holding the button and will go to the lock position simply pointing it down. This is like holding the Axis lock "open" and the blade moving freely. There is no detent holding it closed when you push the button, but then without a spring why have one.

Third, there's no need of a button blocking safety since you have to push the button almost flush with the scale to get it to unlock.

It is light. The micarta has a nice surface and feels good in the hand. The shape of the handle is a modified "dog bone" and very natural in several grips.

The blade is well ground and well centered. It will shave hair right out of the box.

The slightly smaller Ti framelock from WE is perfectly finished (blade and frame) in an even satin.

The S20V blade is well ground and centered. It too will shave hair right out of the box.

It flips open easily and locks instantly. The jimping on the flipper is a nice feature giving good purchase when opening the blade. The ceramic bearings are smoooooth.

It is the pictured modified dog bone shape and comfortable in all the standard grips.

Both drop into the pocket readily and ride deeply on their pocket clips.

The elementum came today, and action was perfect right out of the box. It is a welcome addition to the rotation. Also got a Cold Steel roach belly, a Marttiini Condor skinner, and an Outdoor Edge chasm. Had to add a whistle to hit the $100 shipping threshold. :p
