Hi all, anyone own or have fired this 22? Haven't seen one in my neck of the woods. I'm always in the market for a new 22.

Have had two so far, one black and one FDE. I wanted FDE more, so I sold the black one. They're nice guns, great single action trigger, but the reset is a bit long. Accuracy is excellent. Haven't had any function issues and the mags are easy to load. It's definitely suited for a red dot, the iron sights are all black and not that great IMO.

My only concern is the scratching on the slide from the trigger bar, kinda gouged it up in a few places, but it hasn't gotten any worse. It's a cheap alloy slide, it's a Umarex gun..kinda par for the course. I wouldn't pay MSRP for one, but it should serve you well.

I picked one up over the weekend and put a few rounds through it without any issues. The ambi magazine release is a design that's new to me and I'm going to wait to see if it will become an issue. I'm used to magazine releases that pushes from the left side to release the magazine since I'm right handed. Some of the other guns that I've owned allows you to switch the button to the right side for left handers. However; the button on the FN can be pushed from either side to release the magazine. It hits my trigger finger and I'm going to see if I have any issues accidentally releasing the magazine.

Other than this the gun is great. I like the threaded barrel and the optics ready slide. At 3lbs the trigger pull is lighter than what's specified on FN's website. Hopefully, you can see one in your area soon. I got lucky and didn't pay MSRP but I've noticed that most sellers are asking MSRP or more which is crazy.
