What is the last gun that you bought?

Yesterday I bought a Colt Government Model 1911 Classic.
Fit and finish are great and the springs are strong. The clerk at the gun counter had some trouble seating and releasing the magazine.
I don't think the magazine will fall out from being bumped.
This is my third 1911, top is the 1945 Remington Rand that followed Dad home from the Korean war and that I inherited.
Middle is the Auto-Ordnance I bought to try the model.
Bottom is the Colt.

Picked up a RIA 1911. One of those dual caliber jobs ( 9mm/22TCM9R ). Not sure they even make these dual caliber models anymore. They are not showing on the website. New pistol, so must be new/old stock. Also lucky, this is a single stack model ( which is what I prefer ). No way I'm finding ammo on the shelves around here, but it was available online. The 22TCM9R is supposed to be a hoot to shoot, so looking forward to the ammo arrival.

"Just added the SA Ronin EMP 4" 9mm to my collection"
I have the .45 in that Ronin, would add a 9 in a heartbeat.

I have been watching for a single stack. I'm not ready to spend 1k on one yet though. I have the bolt action rifle in 22tcm. Unfortunately the rifle can share mags with the double stack high cap mag. But I live in NY so 10rd max. I did get some mec-gar 10rd mags for a para P18 38 super that fit the rifle and work with a little modification of the feed lips.

A few days ago, a local gun shop listed a pre-owned Ruger Blackhawk, Flat Top, blued, 5.5”, with .357 Magnum and 9mm cylinders, described as excellent condition, with photos that indicated that to be true. I pounced on it, as soon as I could rip a credit card free of the wallet, to make the on-line purchase. I picked it up, this afternoon. First impressions are quite favorable; it seems to be LNIB condition. I had wanted to avoid firearms purchases, in 2022, for budgetary reasons, but a convertible .357/9mm Blackhawk had been on my short list, for some time, and the Ruger Flat Tops have a desirably-smaller frame than the original Blackhawks. Plus, Ruger does not appear to be manufacturing or shipping any single-actions, lately, so, one has to just go for it, without hesitation.

Looks identical to this- my first Heckler und Koch, and first semi-auto in .308: the US-made PTR-91, manufactured two months ago. Selling two guns to buddies at the Jackson TN gun show Sunday allowed this.

The production equipment was bought by PTR from Portugal, and it could be German tooling.
Stock triggers supposedly aren't good, and can stink on some guns, but professional mods are quite common.
* Haven't had a centerfire rifle with aperture sights for a few years.

With no hordes of enemy troops near the TN state line (ie Ukraine...;)), it will be a range gun. Watching roller-delayed blowback and 91 series re-assembly videos, the mechanism is a strange animal.:scrutiny:

Just read that this totally different platform is finally shipping. Relief.:)
The reason for this photo is that the original G-3 was issued to military branches in dozens of countries.
