So ever since CraigC posted this pic, the urge to get into BP has gone WAAAYYY up. Been watching videos, looking at LGS, driving the wife nuts, you get the idea.
Well, now I want a Kibler. This is driving me nuts, I have always wanted to do something BP since I was a kid and our scout troop went to a BP meet. Anyways, just had to vent that, cuz the wife don't understand. 003_1.jpg

No friend, you most assuredly are not alone. Just a word of warning though, you will soon have a myriad of other "friends" :)D) post here with only the purest motives to help you spend your money - whether you want to or not.

Enjoy the addiction. It is much easier if you don't fight it.

Best of luck and I hope you have lots of fun on your journey.

Fun to shoot; Reduced cost (takes longer to shoot and can be less expensive to buy the gun); SHTF or bug out guns when you can't buy ammo - make your own powder, patches, and bullets; No govt registration or BG checks (conspiracy theorist), can hunt with them and SD if necessary; Historical (yeah I know some are not, but they look like it); etc.

If you were expecting us to talk you out of this, uhhhhh, nope not gonna happen ;).

Blackpowder is highly addictive. Simply smelling the smoke is often enough to cause addiction but actual use is almost a guarantee of addiction. Thankfully there is no cure. :)

"Addictive"? Doesn't that imply an inability on the part of the user to desist in the activity, perhaps due to physical need or a particular mental state?

I can quit any time I want. I just don't want to quit. :D:D
