Everyone has their grail guns. I've been filling mine recently, with three of these coming within the last year. I don't know what it is with these 100 year old all steel guns that attract me, but don't you agree, this photo of 4 guns, all made between 1919 and 1924, just gives one a sense of peace?

Can you name each of them without resorting to references or looking closely at their markings?

I found another Colt 1903 to fix that "gap in my teeth" last year. Was sore tempted by a 1907 Savage; but it's hard enough finding .32acp as is.
Was sore tempted by a Colt 1908 in .38acp a month ago--then I thought about the effort that ammo would be . . .

nice collection, just picked up a 25 auto Ortgies to go along with my 32 auto, now looking for a 380 for a complete set

Nice passel of old school 32 and or 380’s.

Colt 1903 or 1908
Savage 1915
Remington model 51

If you really like to shoot weird, older pistols, consider reloading for their calibers. I draw the line at .25s (a late buddy compared that to picking fly poop out of black pepper), but .32s and .380s are no big deal to load, and save you considerable money.
I've a first generation Scorpion in .32, and it can make empties pretty quickly from its 20 round magazine.

I reload 25, 32acp, 32S&W, 32S&W long, and 380 in those calibers. And the 25's are no problem on a Classic Turret

All these show a little wear, but the photos look worse than they are. For the most recent purchases, the Savage and the Remington, I had the choice of two pistols of each in both cases and chose the one in better condition. This Remington has about 90% bluing. The one I didn't take was $300 less expensive, but had 10% of it's bluing and a cracked grip panel. It was a no-brainer.
