Forgot my 9mm ammo on a range run, so I borrowed some from the range stash, including some Perfecta.
Out of 10 rounds, four didn't go off, even with a second whack. Guns were a Colt Commander and Springer SA-35.
Normally only shoot my own reloads, but it is reaching the point where some factory ammo is cheaper than roll yer own.
But some of it isn't a bargain...

I haven’t used Perfecta handgun rounds, but I do have a few boxes of .243 and .270 (maybe its .30-30?) on the shelf I have yet to fire. I think they were Wal Mart buys before the ‘Mart quit selling ammo here.

I will watch for the off kilter flash hole issue when (if?) I ever get a chance to go shoot.

Stay safe..

Perfecta is made by Fiocchi. I can't tell a meaningful difference between it and most decent-quality 9mm brass factory loads such as Blazer brass, Speer Lawman, Winchester white box, etc. I don't recall ever having a FTF with it, even in my CZs with lightened hammer springs. The only other Perfecta ammo I've shot has been some .243 hunting rounds which shot very well in my CZ 550, though I was shooting with open sights and couldn't test accuracy nearly as precisely as I can with a scope.

Now there is a range of responses! Thanks, guys.
Interesting about Fiocchi making Perfecta; think well of that. Their 140 FMJ .357 clocks nearly 1100'sec in a snub. They make good stuff.
.455, know what you mean, have had issues with some brands of primers in Smiths with tuned mainsprings, but the two pistols used haven't been modded. The rounds had good primer hits, and didn't go with a second try. These rounds have been in the Club stash for some time, so they aren't the product of any hurry up mfg due to shortages.

I have shot and reloaded thousands of Perfect a rounds with no problems at all. Everything from 9mm, 45 auto to 38 and 357

Perfecta is made by Fiocchi.
Perfecta was not a manufacturer, they were an importer/distributor and it seems that they put their mark on ammo from a number of different makers. Some of it was made by Fiocchi and the Fiocchi stuff from Italy seemed to be pretty good quality. There was also some that was ostensibly made by Fiocchi of Hungary and there were complaints about it.

I don't know who made the .38Spl ammo, but this is not the first complaint I've seen about it.

Tulammo USA distributed the Perfecta I bought and it was labeled so on the box as well as "made in Italy."
