A few people on THR, TheFiringLine etc could be suddenly incapacitated, or worse.

And wives, girlfriends, brothers etc wont know which shoebox in a closet, attic chest drawer or wall conceals a gun.

Will the gun in a few years be discovered by a child when the object is carried inside a huge pile of other stuff to another home?

This could never happen to one of Our guns…no way…..

Survivalists in Oregon vacuum-pack the metal parts after adding a desiccant pack or two.
Wood (if any) just gets a coat of wax, then everything goes into the PVC tubes.
Bury vertically, with the top about three feet down.
Then, at about a foot and a half down, bury a Mason jar with a couple of hundred bucks in coins.
Most searchers with metal detectors will get as far as the money cache and then stop... .

Argon is produced in Russia, it’s been a issue with the welding community

Argon is produced anywhere the builders of an air separation plant think it is worth installing an argon column.
It is nearly 1% in air and is chemically inert, so use of argon just puts it back in the atmosphere. Unlimited recycling.
So any issue is in the minds of the shortsighted who found it cheaper to import than produce... for a while.

... if your 3 year old granddaughter watched you load shotgun shells and goes around the house saying "size, prime, powder, wad, shot, crimp, crimp"
When my oldest granddaughter was 5-6 years old she would save the brass shavings when I trimmed cases. She thought it looked like gold (today it is). She still has a Sierra box full of shavings, at 18.

Much scarcer than Argon but obtained the same way, by fractional distillation of liquefied air. Also Krypton and Xenon.
Same deal, you can make them or buy them.
Helium is only reasonably available from just the right natural gas wells, and is the only one that has industries worried.
just did some reading, Ukrain supplies 70% of the world’s Neon for Semiconductor fab . go my story straight
