When a .45 is called for...this is it...a Sig 1911 RCS...in my version of the Askins Avenger holster...high and tight to the torso, it's about as invisible as is possible with an OWB....When weight and bulk are of more concern...it's a Sig P365....YMMv Rod

It didn't (and, BTW, a Kahr doesn't strike me as pretty damn expensive). But some of us have learned, over the years, that reliability does increase with the commensurate increase in price of one's chosen tool. Not to say that one's budget firearms are not gonna be able to save one's life, but...

What I carry mostly...

For a striker fire from a mass production company...the T9 Elite is pretty expensive.

Well, now, that is a pretty expensive Kahr. Nice lookin' little pistola; would like to see some reviews on it.

I'm gonna be honest...it looks nice, it's as reliable as most name brand striker fired guns these days, and it's well built. Outside of that, there's a reason nobody talks about them. Mine was made in 2020 and it's one serial above a 2018 review unit I saw online...there's just no demand for the way overpriced "Elite" model. Even the regular non polished models...you can find them barely used for $500 and they still sit collecting dust.

They're just incredibly stiff, have the capacity of a Luger, and really offer nothing special outside of being a stainless steel striker fire. I'd personally never recommend one to anyone outside of collectors in today's world.

Those polymer Kahrs though...that's a different story.

Kimber Ultra CDP II in .45 ACP most of the time, S&W Shield 2 9mm sometimes, and both use Hydrashoks. Hiking and biking are a different story altogether.

KarateHottie93---Let's see:
Looks good---OK
Is reliable as other striker fired guns---OK, it's reliable as a Glock 19
It's well built---OK, like a Dan Wesson 1911
It's stiff---OK, no stiffer than a Wilson or Les Baer
Capacity of a Luger---OK, single stacks fit my hand (1911 fits great), double stacks not so well
Stainless steel---OK, a big plus
Long trigger pull---OK, similar to a smoothed out revolver (I like revolvers)
I guess I'll keep mine bought in the mid nineties when they first came out.

Walther PPS , 9mm with melted in Holosun 507k , or .40 with tritiums . Prefer the 9nd round 9mm lately. EDC for normal conditions ! Many others for special circumstances.

I never said it was a bad gun...just that I don't think it's the best fit for most people who aren't in guns.

This one nearly all the time." Pocket Pal".

And this one to accompany the above (Except in Winter when I am more likely to carry a revolver.)

A Micro Desert Eagle in .380 and A Kimber Rapide in .45 ACP.

I have ALWAYS wanted a Micro Dessert Eagle. I’ve been obsessed with Magnum Research since I was a kid and seeing my friend’s uncle’s BFR (back when they were new). The thing was insanely huge. I used to play Socom on PS2 and always used the Desert Eagle because it was the best handgun in the game. When I realized both were made by the same company I became a huge MRI fan. Then Kahr bought them so I bought a $1,000 Kahr lol.

Taurus G2C, backed by a Ruger LCP-MAX. Trying to "go down" to just the MAX and ditch the belt gun altogether, but haven't gotten there yet.

Alternative carry pair is the previous one (before acquiring the two above), a Kel-Tec PF9 backed by its little sister, the P32.

I have always felt that the Bianchi Askins Avenger was one of the foremost holster designs for the 1911. Your's looks to be a very well made and faithful version of it.

Keep up the great work!
