I have one of these in the 3x9 offering. I have had it for over 10 years and it has been great. When I bought mine they also came with a 20x spotting scope that I still use. And IIRC I paid $200 for mine so yours sounds like deal.

I did a little digging on Dack outdoors. The biggest complaints are slow shipping. Looks like they drop ship. So if the co the order from is out of stock it could take some time. That is great price on a Burris scope.
I will update when I get "shipped" email confirmation. The slow shipping could have been from Covid.

I got the price link from Gun Deals and Grab a Gun shows $192 but their link shows $289 -
https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/200341

Mil dot version of Gun Deals shows $184 from Dack Outdoors and $188 from two other vendors so maybe $169 is a viable price - https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/000381001931

I will keep you posted as to what happens. If $169 is no go for MV version, I would order mil dot version for $184/$188.

Anyone ordered and received an item from Dack Outdoors in the OP? Those prices are almost too good to be true.
They clearly indicate that they are small family run business and to expect delays (Which is fine by me).

I checked out their contact page and sent a Facebook message (Which they indicated would be answered within a day).

If for whatever reason Dack Outdoor cannot fulfill their advertised prices, my backup plan is to order mil dot version for $188 from a different vendor (I am also considering Athlon 24x scope around $200).

Will keep you posted.

Got a reply back on Facebook messenger ... So the $169+$9 shipping is still a go! :D:thumbup:

"While we make every attempt to ship orders as quickly as possible, we do ask that you allow us at least 30 days to ship from the time you order. We have placed this information near the top of every page of our web site so that our customers are aware of our shipping times prior to placing an order.

While we are starting to get caught up and orders are shipping faster than the 30 days, we still appreciate customers waiting up to 30 days.

Your order was placed on Aug. 13th, and is waiting to be initiated into processing. Once your order goes into processing, you'll receive an email and then another email once it ships.

You will also receive your tracking number and information with the last one. Thank you so much for your patience and for choosing DACK Outdoors!

Is there anything else I can assist you with today?"

Looks like my scope will be shipped with OP pricing. At $169, I don't care if it takes more than a month to process order and ship. :D

Well, have you received it?

I NEVER order from a company that doesn't make their phone number easily known on their website. That means they don't want to be "bothered" by customers. They have a 3.3 rating on Facebook reviews. Red flag number 2. Then based upon the whole of the content when I google Dack Outdoors Complaints, red flag number 3. There are too many good businesses out there to roll the dice with these folks to save a few bucks.

I sure did, today. :D

Wife said there was a box at the door and I went, "Really? I am not expecting any deliveries ..." only to realize it was the Burris scope Dack Outdoors obviously drop shipped.

So here's my order to delivery timeline. At $169 +$9 shipping for ruby red 6.5-20x50mm Burris scope with Ballistic Plex E1 MV reticle, I don't mind slow shipping - https://www.burrisoptics.com/reticles/ballistic-plex-e1-mv

I am planning to test the scope in the 22LR "Real World" 50 yard challenge - https://www.burrisoptics.com/scopes...es-series/fullfield-e1-riflescope-6.5-20x50mm

"The scope focuses down as close as 50 yards, though, which makes this one popular with precision .22 LR shooters."

Tag attached to the scope says, "Forever Warranty. No questions asked." - https://www.burrisoptics.com/customer-service/warranty

(I am getting my cataract surgery done on Wednesday. Hopefully I will see better to enjoy shooting again)

NICE!!!!

Sold all my leupolds years ago and changed over to burris scopes and never looked back.

Bought a used burris SII 36x42brd several years ago on ebay and used it on several different high powdered rifles. Had water issues in my basement a couple months ago and the scope was under water for several hours and got water in side it. Sent it back to sightron with a note telling them I bought it used and what happed. Never herd nothing back from them.

Mailed in back in on 9-7-21
They received it on 9-12-21
On 9-23-21 there was a box at the door from sightron with a brand new scope in it with lens covers and sun shade.

Hard to beat quality scopes and a no BS warranty.

it is certainly a heck of a deal!
I would say so.

I had the opportunity to test the scope for 10/22 and T/CR22 so far and before EGW 20 MOA scope rail was installed on 10/22, the "Christmas tree" reticle allowed me to compensate for low POI which was nice.

Yes, scope is made in Philippines for those who prefer "not made in China" option. I am quite happy with field of view brightness, clarity, eye relief and eye box. I like to test scopes in low light conditions and in late afternoon dense tall tree shadows at 100 yards, 1" tube Burris produced bright enough field of view on par with many 30mm tube scopes I have that allowed me to clearly view 22LR holes on target.

For 1" tube scope at 20x power under $200, Burris FF E1 6.5-20x50 would be a good choice for many hunting/recreational shooting applications.

Did you change over to Burris, or to Sightron? Sounds like Sightron...

I had essentially the same thing happen with Burris. Bought a used scope that was sold in the rimfirecentral classifieds as LNIB, when I received it it looked like someone had crushed it in the worlds most powerful scope rings. It wouldn't focus clearly at any distance. Since the scope was of no use to me I sent it to Burris with a request for them to tell me how much it'd cost to fix it (I didn't know for certain if the lack of focus was due to the crushed tube, but it was obvious that the scope had been abused and I didn't expect them to warranty some goof-ball's ham-fistedness). A couple of weeks later there was a NIB scope in my mailbox. No questions asked.

I also bought a used Sightron Big Sky 36x that was a bit smoky looking, just didn't seem to be as clear as I thought it should be. I called them, spoke with someone in engineering/technical, he explained some very interesting aspects of rifle scopes (including for example that there are 13 pieces of glass in the Big Sky 36x). He took my used scope, tested it, said it was a few % short of optimal, and looked through his on-hand inventory of demo/shot-show/whatever scopes (the model had been discontinued and they didn't have any more NIB ones) and found one that tested a few percentage points better, and sent it to me. It is excellent.
