The first is a "resolution of disapproval" which won't get sufficient support and doesn't achieve anything other than to scold.

The second is an attempt to change the NFA to exclude "arm braces" and we all know that the NFA isn't changing in this Congress.

It is useful to know who our allies are, but it is also important to recognize the sorts of legislative "efforts" that are pure politicking and fund raising when they do nothing or they are clearly going to go nowhere.

Encourage all of your elected officials to support them, but don't be discouraged if they don't go anywhere.

More importantly is to find a way to work to change a couple of Senate seats to pro 2A (even if only mildly pro) so a firearms accessories are not guns bill can pass the Senate.

It’s all theater to appeal to the base. Without 60 votes, a leader to allow a vote, passage in the house, and someone to sign, it’s not going to happen.

They know it won't pass, we know it won't pass. The big question is will they introduce them after 2024 when the house is firmly in republican control, they have the Senate majority and the white house?
