Model 27 3 1/2” barrel is probably my favorite based on pure aesthetics. It’s an N frame so I’m pretty sure it’s full sized.

I agree. My two 27-2 revolvers are top left and bottom. Top left is a 5 inch barrel. Bottom is a 3 1/2 barrel. Top right is 6 inch barrel pre 27.

29, 24, 29, pre 17, 69, 629, 51, 15-3, Mountain Revolver, 19 no dash, 19-3 and many more! I love them all!

Here's one of mine, a 29-2 that I've owned for many years. I love the grips on this gun. This was my second .44, a love affair that has lasted since 2002.

Oh heck, how about a 629-1 which was my first .44.

Maybe a 24-3 4" that started me on the .44 Spl.

S&W 617. My current go-to revolver.
Not big bores but fun guns to shoot. Both have reasonable prices on ammo when you can find it and both have exceptional triggers.

The Model 10 has the smoothest DA trigger of any Smith I've ever owned. That's the way it came from the factory. They really knew how to make guns many years ago.

The 617 has been extensively worked on, has an Apex hammer so that I can get a 6.5 pound double action and all the internals have been polished. This is my Steel Challenge gun and I've beaten a number of automatics with it.

In my eyes, a 4” N frame, is a beautiful revolver. Especially one with the tapered barrel . Pictured is my 4” 624 no dash and 629-4. If I were forced to get rid of one of them, it would be the 629. The 624 is one of my favorite.

I'm the same way, I have an equal amount of .44 spl and mag revolvers. The mags would be first to go.
