Wow!!! The Mauser Sport parabellum really does exist! I saw it in the 1978 edition of The Gun Digest and thought back then (and still do today), that it was one of the most awesome looking Lugers that I had ever seen.

This probably also explains why I have always been drawn to the Ruger Mk.II Model 512 all these years!

Thanks

Yeah they built less than 100 of them. Probably a better chance of getting struck by lightning than seeing one in the wild, especially almost 50 years after they were built.

bc1023.....DANG son!!! :what: On a side note, which of these would you consider your "softest shooting 9mm"?

And that Mauser Sport parabellum you have is amazing!!

Guys, thank you so much for showing me even more options than I had known existed! I appreciate this. And some great pictures!

Still have the Wilson EDC X9 and Sig 226 Legion, no longer have the DW Valkyrie or Hi Power.

I sometimes miss the Valkyrie.

bc1023......Very impressive collection. Thank you for the pictures.

I don't have but one that comes close, but they've long been a favorite of mine. The first 9mm I ever bought and I'm pretty sure this one will still do the job if called upon.

Smith and Wesson Model 39-2, from 1970 IIRC. Steel with a alloy frame. Conventional DA/SA action. Blue, with wood grips. Sights adjustable for windage. Single stack with 8+1 capacity. Fits my hand like it was made to be there. IMHO, about as "classy" as they get.

And this one fits the bill in most catagories, but I don't think it's what you're looking for. The Smith and Wesson CSX. All metal, double stack, single action, "mini" 9mm. In spite of all the "bad" press it's gotten I think it's a pretty decent little gun. Wood grips would be nice though.

Good lord man!

Your pistol collection is like @Offfhand ’s rifle collection, however, it’s unfair to compare either of them to anything as they stand on their own merits as examples of the meaning of “no compromises”
Thank you

I have quite a few others. Those are just metal 9mms
