I've been shooting x39 for only a dozen or so years but have had a lot of fun finding different kinds of ammo, mostly in out of the way pawn shops. This is only a portion of my collection but I'm too lazy to start moving a bunch of heavy boxes around looking for the rest. I'd like to see what some of the rest of you have squirreled away :D

I collect shotgun shell boxes. I have some old rifle cartridge boxes also, including a Dominion (Canadian brand) .577 box.

I don't have anything like that in boxes, but i have a stripper clip of that copper washed NORINCO surplus.

It's become a gunshow hobby, to look for old ammo boxes. I have a box of .22 Long, not LR, and a box of NORINCO 7.62 Tokarev.

The upper left box is very interesting. Is it brass-case ammo?

It’s brass 123g soft point, with sealed primers. The box says made in Yugoslavia, but the cases are headstamped IMI, which I believe is Israel. I think these are from the 90's.

I’ve had a box of Hansen .357 long ago which was actually marked made in Israel.

That's really cool. X39 is my favorite ammo to collect, and part of the reason is there's such a huge variety out there; you never know what you might find in some little shop somewhere :D

Made in Yugoslavia, when ceased to exist in 1993. The part of what was then Yugoslavia which contains a city called Uzice is now known as Serbia (which it was in the past). Uzice is the location of Privi Partizan Uzice, more commonly known as PPU.
I used to buy 6.5x55mm cartridges marked 'Hansen' also marked (in rather smaller letters) 'made in Yugoslavia'.

Collecting WW1 rifles, I have a fair amount of PPU ammunition. Where else to get new loaded 8mm Lebel?

I don't save empty ammo boxes. The current factory ammo i have on hand are S&B.
