While were on 22lr ammo. I have 4 bricks of armscore. I bought it a few years ago at Dunhams for 15.00 a brick. The sale was 2 for 30.00. I still have not shot it. I need to see how it works.

Armscor produced 2" groups at 25 yards out of GSG 1911 and reliably feeds/cycles Gen3 Glock 22 with Advantage Arms slide kit.

My local Sportsman’s Warehouse yesterday was loaded with ammo like I haven’t seen in years and the prices weren’t too bad either. I did find my unicorn and they had no limits on ammo so I got 8 boxes of Aguila Colibri at 7.99 each. It’s all I could afford, but it will do me for a while and I wasn’t out anyway.

It angers me when I think about the Academy price
To be completely fair, Academy kept their prices lower than pretty much anybody in my area for well over a year into this whole crazy mess. They were charging $18 a box for standard hunting ammo while the LGS were charging $50+.

I noticed Academy really starting to jack up prices about a year or so ago to what the market would bear. I'm thankful that they didn't act like all the greedy bastards elsewhere and quadruple their prices overnight as soon as they smelled blood in the water.

They were essentially leaving money on the table, so why not charge more. I foresee myself becoming a pretty consistent Academy customer after prices settle down. I don't shop there now because there are better prices to be had elsewhere by a pretty decent margin.
