When I first got the P365 I pocket carried for 6 months using a sticky holster, which fit comfortably in my daily wear Wrangler cargo jeans. But what started happening is the corner of the grip frame (using the lowest profile, flush fit 10 round mags) started wearing holes through the pocket, then started wearing through the jean material, causing a white spot to appear on the outside. I guess with daily activity of sitting, standing, etc, it was inevitable, so I moved to an AIWB Concealment Express holster with claw adapter, and have been good to go since.

For me, the 365 is too large and heavy for pocket carry. I did carry a P3AT in a pocket holster for a short time as backup before I changed to the belt clip. I've carried IWB for most of the 50+ yrs I've carried a gun. The availability of good IWB holsters has been a blessing.

Just picked up a P365 at the recommendation of a very good friend.

It’s amazing. The size/weight/capacity/ratio is unreal.

I usually carry a P239 DAK in 357 SIG. I prefer appendix carry. The off switch makes this P365 a viable carry gun for me.

That's what I thought as well the first time I handled one! I had a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of someone making a high capacity 9mm. this small, this flat, and this lightweight! When I got mine I decided to go with the slightly longer frame version, the P365X, as I truly felt it was just the perfect size for my hand!

I carry my P365 in a Galco Stinger minimalist owb holster. It's a little big for pocket carry in my opinion. Well at least that's what I told myself to justify buying the LCP Max.

I'm of the same mindset in that for me, the P365 is a bit too big and heavy for pocket carry. I think it would be better suited for an IWB holster, like the one I have from Concealment Express for my HK VP9.

To be fair, Keltec achieved this in the … 90s? Just with a crappy trigger, questionable reliability and worse, IMO, ergos.

But I did have much the same reaction when first handling the 365.

I bought one of the original P-11s. It seemed like a neat idea at the time. Spare magazines were unavailable and IIRC, only one mag came with the pistol. Which was okay, because that was the limit of rounds the pistol could get through before it started choking. The second mag of the range session, lucky to get through three rounds. The trigger was absolutely heinous, the recoil brutal. DIdn't point well for me and I was unable to obtain decent groups (to my liking). The word was out on these pistols, and I couldn't sell or trade the thing, so I traded it (at a significant loss, even though it was a cheap pistol) and another gun for something more shootable.

SIG has done it right with the 365 series, for sure.

I found a P365 at a good price, and like it to the point that I am shopping for a P365XL with optical sight to add to the mix. The XL will get a Wilson Combat grip module and a good OWB holster. These are like potato chips--can't stop at one.
