My local LGS is having a sale for the above firearm. Full size or Compact, both are on sale for $194. Seems like a very good price for what the STR-9 offers;
Striker-fired operation
Textured polymer frame
Outstanding ergonomics
Interchangeable backstrap
Dovetailed, 3-dot sights
Nitride-finished slide
Trigger lever safety
Low bore axis

I have never shot one, but them seem to be a Glock clone. That is a pretty good gun to clone, and that is a very tempting price.

I have no personal experience with them, but the reviews I have seen are generally favorable. Seems like a lot of gun for the money IF it meets all of your requirements. I would be tempted at that price if I was looking for a solid handgun for a backup or resources were limited.

No experience with them whatsoever, but if I ever had to roll the dice on a budget gun, I’d sooner take a chance on one made by a company that Beretta owns than I would on most or all of the other stuff in its price bracket (e.g., Taurus).

I've been looking for a inexpensive firearm that my son can keep in his fishing boat/truck. Going to go check them out today or tomorrow, reviews have been good. Stoeger is a decent company and I have owned the Stoeger Couger 9mm & 45 which were both excellent. Using the word "TAURUS" when related to firearms is cursing in my household.

I have had the compact and currently have the subcompact. As for Glock clones it is spot on apart from a grip which I feel is improved and using 3 dot sights which I also prefer. Mags are more prevalent than they used to be if you look online but I shoot mine remarkable well for a 300 dollar gun and had 0 malfunctions in the 600 ish rounds so far. For 200 bucks that’s a no brainer to me

I have the full size Str9. No complaints so far, shoots well. Nothing to brag about, but for price nothing to really complain about either.
Paid about $350 for mine, came with 3mags and a tactical holster. Got about 1k rounds thru it .

I seem to remember The Honest Outlawnhad a video review about one. I think it broke and he had hard time getting it repaired and only comes with 1 mag

I checked it out at my LGS. Very solid firearm. The sights are large 3-dot and was very easy for my eyes to target. The trigger was surprising good , very similar to my Walther PPS-2. There was no grityness or spongy feeling to it at all. The grip was very Glock like which isn't my cup of tea but the gun did balance nicely. All in all I think it's a very good deal and a quality firearm. For under 200 dollars brand new I think it's a home run.
