I generally just fix what’s broken and then enjoy the gun. Only one I never figured out was a hipoint 995 that shot a very odd but consistent pattern where it would apparently hook to the right. Sighted in at 50 yards it was 2 inches left at 25 and about 9 inches right at 100. Very strange.

Mine was a Broomhandle Bolo. Great condition externally, crisp markings, all matching numbers. I’ve never had a gun I wanted so badly to function correctly. I became very familiar with it’s workings and threw a few hundred dollars at it, but there was something fundamentally wrong with it that eluded me and a couple of gunsmiths.
I don’t keep guns that don’t work correctly, ‘cause it isn’t a cool gun if it can’t function reliably as a gun.
I parted it out and made twice what I paid for it. The barrel and extension alone recovered my purchase price. Curiously, the receiver was the only part that wasn’t immediately snapped up.

High Point is a decent gun! but 2” at 25 yards. Time to sell

I dislike any new offering from Kimber. I have 2 that are about 10 years old and they're great, but I will never give them another dime after my horrible experience with their customer service or lack thereof. Let's just say that the pistol went in with 1 problem and cAme back with many more. 3 trips back and forth and then i sold it

I don't like the beretta 92fs either. I had one and it was very reliable but too big for my hands and I can't stand that the front sight can't be changed. Now if I happened upon a Brigadier with a dovetailed front sight, I might give it another try.
I handled and shot my brothers old Kimber and it was smooth and tight. Then I handled one of the new Kimber’s at the LGS, and it didn’t give me the tingles. Here’s another “my brother” story. He was in the service during the Bosnian wars as a peace keeper, young 2th, and his 92 that they gave him, the trigger rest spring broke and that what he carried during the his whole stayed. A broken Single Shot 92

who know what this is??? bet only a hand full of people have shot one of these
