Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Yes!
Picked up my holster from the good folks at Lobo Gunleather in Ely, Mn the other day.

Since it is for a "snake" gun, my 2020 Python, I asked for some snakeskin.
Inlaid in the shoulder straps with finer scaling and in the holster with larger scales.

Here I will show you a picture with the revolver and speed loaders....

I just finished adjusting it and applying blue lock-tight to the screws.

Great craftsmanship from a family of Christian Republicans!

Now I have to find a barbecue to go to. ;)

Oh great, I'm following the post with that awesome beautiful shoulder holster. lol

Yesterday I bought this Ruger American in 350 Legend to assist with my ongoing hog problem. I have never owned a rifle in the American series mainly because I think they are dog ugly. Well, they are. However, my little rifle is exactly what I needed. it is very light and compact and will be easy to carry on days when it is 107 in the shade.

Awesome. My order just arrived. So when my previous order arrived a couple weeks ago, the UPS had smashed the box really bad so that it was torn and ripped open. There was obvious packaging tape job trying to fix it. When I opened the box several of the ammo boxes were open and partly spilled out, and some of the ammo boxes were torn. In sum I was missing eleven rounds of .357 Magnum and 3 rounds of .44 Special. I reported it to the seller Cavalry Ammunition, and he said he would see what he could get UPS to do about it. No idea what UPS said to him. But I just received the order above and it was so well packaged it took me some effort to get the box open. Then the surprise. He added a free box of 50 9mm hollow points and a box of 20 assorted that he wrote "From the Apes at UPS" on the box. It contains eight .357 Magnum rounds, eight .44 Specials and four .44 Magnums. Now that's customer service!

I just ordered this holster for my J-frame. Will see if it works or is more gimmick. Certainly not for speed loading. Holds 5 rounds of 38 Special in the flap. I am hoping that will bulk up that side of the holster so it looks more wallet like in the pocket because my current holster looks rather triangular in the pocket, which I am afraid will give things away too easily to perps.

3-4 things arrived today from Midway.. .BSA Sweet .22 which I highlighted in another thread. M1A mag I bought yesterday at a gun shop. Trout knife from Midway I plan to gift to a fellow back packer and fly rod fisherman. Lee Safety Prime for a LEE single stage press.

Desantis holster for a Keltec PMR30...I like it. Amazing how light that Keltec feels compared to a couple of my CCW's.

Holster arrived and is great. Lays flat and the ammo in the side makes it present like a large wallet instead of the triangle shape the Elite brand holster was making in my pocket. Also the Elite flap was bending and digging into my leg, but this new one lays flat and is very comfortable. Finally, I am able to hold the 5 rounds (J-frame) of extra ammo in the flap while inserted in a speed strip. So, still not quick ammo access, but it serves to help conceal the revolver by making the rectangular shape, and it is there just in case. One can always also toss an extra speed strip in another pocket too.

Bought some Weaver rings for the Savage 22A Mag. rifle (purchased new 2 years ago but had yet found time to shoot it).
Mounted a 4.5-14x40 Buckmaster scope that has been collecting dust...got it dialed in at 50 yards. I'll try it at 100 tomorrow.
