My sons RS22 had a no fire. And he couldn't pull the bolt to eject it. I had to tap the bolt handle with a mallet to get it open. Now it won't feed a round. It gets stuck at a 45 degree angle. Mag issue rulled out. He has 3 mags for it. Before this happened the gun worked fine. Im at my wits end to find the issue. Thanks Al.

A few pictures of the magazines might be helpful. Nearly all of my semi-auto issues come down to feed lips and I’m wondering if the bolt perhaps wedged against the feed lips which would surely give before a solid block of steel.

If squished down a bit they could release the top round late, allowing it to misfeed.

the bolt will close with a mag inserted. The mags will feed ammo in my Mossberg 802. The mag with the green follower is from the Mossberg. The mag to the right 1st pic is the one that was in when the round got stuck. It's bent some.

I did try it with differnt insert depths. It wont grab the round unless it's all the way in. I worked the bolt in slow motion. The round pops up right away when it's grabed. One time i got it to feed letting the slide rip.

It's fixed. I took it appart. And put it back together. I found a video how to take the trigger group out and back in easy. I gave it a good clean and lube while i had it appart.

Bought a RS22 a few years ago, had nothing but trouble at first (ejection & feed failures). I noticed that running the bolt by hand would make the magazines move so I filed the mag lips until they quit dragging on the bolt. Also bought a 25 rounder that wouldn't latch in and still isn't reliable if loaded with more than 15 rds. Was able to reshape the magazine enough that it latches in now.
The center mag in second pic looks like it might be rubbing on the rear feed lips...
