Congratulations and good luck, from one New Jerseyan to a couple of others. People don't realize how much open land there is in NJ until they see it being leveled for another warehouse facility or home development. It's funny, whenever I'm driving and see tracts of open land I always visualize where I would put a range. I will be starting my ccw app soon.

We are fortunate to have 92 acres. It's a horse farm we're not getting rich but it's a lifestyle. And yes we'll see how it plays out but we're checking every box and we'll have our applications in within the next week or so. Fingers crossed.

And yes it is a big responsibility. I have Florida Utah and New Hampshire non-res. So I can carry in most other states except my own.

Yep, I see more than few horse farms, some not too far from where I am in Hamilton Twp/Robbinsville area. Imagine most family farms are a heap of hard work. I also have Florida, wish I could use it in PA and others up north too.

Well my wife shot a 250 out of 250.Me well only a 247. Im proud of her.Qualify protocol is at top left of target. 15 rounds from 7yd 20 round at 10 yd 10 rounds at 15 and 5 at 25.

Congratulations to both of you! With my eye sight I better start practicing more at 25 yds. Wishing you good luck with the ccw approvals. Edited after reading about qual. scoring very impressive shooting there. I'd like to know where you went to qualify if you're ok sharing, I don't recognize those target hangers.

Also just an FYI if you have a red dot or laser on your gun that is okay for qualification. And as the new directive from the state of New Jersey you will qualify with the gun you will carry but carry other guns later added onto your permit with just a form no qualification necessary.

Thanks for the info on where you guys went. Only have iron sights, not sure I'd see a red dot or laser out that far anyhow.

Iron sights are just fine for qualifying. Most reach the 200 point mark before shooting the 25 yard.
