Those chickens were sure it was feeding time!

Scratch is more important to chickens than most any annoyance!

Let the man have his fun before he has to feed the chickens and change the water, and harvest any eggs he can find.

I had A Fanner 50 and rig!

One thing it taught me was Fanning made a lot more noise and allowed you to miss faster.

loved those little plastic slugs and spring loaded cases. Loading those grey plastic slugs in the cases and sticking a greenie stick’em cap on the base was sort of like hand loading.

only toy lever action I Had (other than actual BB guns) was the Wanted: Dead or Alive “Mare’s Leg”

Loved the chickens just waiting and wandering around disinterested.

I had a man tell me once I should be ashamed for shooting my 1896 hand ejector and that it should be delegated to just being enjoyed by being looked at .

I told him I worship the Lord. These guns were made to be shot not gawked at!

Sounds like that fellow had a trophy wife, just for looking at. I can see where this fanning nonsense damages the internals, especially without an action stop to prevent over travel of the cylinder and other pieces.

Well if you would only leave the revolvers in the box, oiled and stashed away they would never wear out and you wouldn't be at risk of crushing your pearls from all the clutching.
