Bestech new back lock “Tonic”

Holy smokes! MSRP is $340!

umm, I don’t think so.

Everything has gone up, I get that, but this is getting pretty out of hand.

Guess my hobby is going to get toned down.

I’m going to have to look long and hard at that one. Love it. Love the lock, blade shape and materials.
 
Just watched a review and this thing flicks open and almost drops shut. Very similar to my Spyopera in terms of action. Being watching for a pic in the What knife have you bought thread from me!

Let me know how you feel about that price point. I was a little shocked, but I really like it too.

You check out Bestech’s website? There’s carbon fiber models too, but I kind of prefer this micarta version.

If I pick one up, it’ll be next year most likely. Got another model I’m watching.

Given the materials I can stomach the price. It’s likely street price is around $270 and I paid that for S90V and Carbon Fiber on a Native 5, and this knife looks better to me by quite a bit.

Please link me to their site. I want to check them all out. Dang man, this checks all the boxes for me.
 
Yeah the black is nice two. Keep me posted! WMK seems to get Bestech drops before a lot of other vendors.

You know, I have to confess I own zero knives with micarta on them. Well, maybe my kitchen knives have it and it’s been smoothed down quite a bit but I’m not sure. But I find myself liking the look of it on minimalist designs. Which I’d call this, or at least this offering of it.
 
I put in an order for the black micarta. Fortunately I don’t have to sleep on the couch as a result!
